Our series center around a topic (like rejoicing in "The Rejoicin' Texts"). Each includes 4 bible passages of notable length, divided into 12 weeks of melodic lessons. You learn a little bit every week, each week building upon the last. These lessons are designed to be easy enough for a 5 year old, but engaging and fun for all ages!

Our songs are not exactly "songs."
What do I mean by that ?

Traditional songs follow a pattern: Verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, chorus.
These are not songs in the traditional sense. Our melodies walk right through the text from top to bottom.
They are bible verses put to music. Directly.
No verses, no choruses. When you learn it this way, you learn it by singing, but in time, you will be able to recite it straight through without singing, too (if you want)!

Firm Foundations

Start off strong by learning four of the most foundational scripture passages in the Bible!

John 3:16-20
Deuteronomy 6:4-9
Ephesians 6:10-17
Exodus 20:1-21

Each of these have an important role in establishing our faith. From learning the 10 commandments, His most important commandment (Love the Lord your God...), to the love the Father has for us in sending His Messiah, and how to put on the Armor of God - these help give us a steady footing and prepare us for our everyday battles.

The Rejoicin' Texts

Praise 'til the worship comes. Worship 'til the glory comes.
And when the glory comes, stand in it!

Rejoicing, worshipping, and giving YHWH the glory is what wins battles, confuses the enemy, and sends him running! This series covers 4 passages that will have you fighting battles in gladness and rejoicing over His goodness:

1 Thessalonians 5:16-23
Zephaniah 3:14-17
Philippians 4:4-9
Isaiah 35

Let's not forget, Zephaniah says "He will REJOICE over YOU with gladness! He will quiet you with His love. And HE will REJOICE over YOU with SINGING! Oh, what a wonderful sound that must be!

David was a worshipper! He sang, he danced, he played instruments, he wrote songs...I mean psalms! These Psalms have been sung by Israelites and believers for millennia! While we may not have the original melodies, we can still sing the same words as we revere our eternal Father! Ideally, we will have many volumes of Psalms. But our first volume here includes:

Discerning Disciples

As they say, "Context is everything!" We hear and quote a lot of amazing verses, but do we know the context around them? What is the deeper understanding to these words? Did they mean the same thing when they were written as they do now?

Dive into the keen insight and good judgement the disciples shared about walking out our faith! Meditate on what these verses mean, discuss them with our children, and fixate them on our minds. Let's learn what it looks like to become a Discerning Disciple!
