Frequently Asked Questions 

The course series are 12 weeks long. Each series has 4-Bible passages of various length in each series (a short passage may take 2 weeks to complete, while a longer one takes 3-5 weeks). 

Each passage is split into shorter weekly parts.

Each weekly part contains 2 videos to watch and practice:
1. An introduction video to watch the first day of the week.
2. A practice video to watch and 'practice' multiple times throughout the week.

At the end of an entire passage, the learner will receive a final Song video and MP3 download of the learned bible verse song for their continued enjoyment.

You may have noticed that sometimes we use names for God you don't hear very often. These are some of the titles of God that either God refers to himself as, or names that the various writers of the bible have given him.

Sometimes we may sing "the Lord", sometimes "YHWH" or "Elohim." There are actually many more names the writers used for God like Jehovah, Adonai, Abba, El Elyon and so on. They each have incredible meaning or describe an attribute of God and it is a wonderful topic to do a study on if time allows. While at TRP we don't use all of the names in their original versions, we do like to get closer to the original text where we can.

Lastly, when singing about the Messiah, most famously known as "Jesus," we use "Yeshua" in our songs. In Hebrew it is the word for "salvation" and also the Hebrew translation of the name of Jesus. How cool is it that His name means salvation, and He is our salvation!?

If you find yourself still wanting to sing "Jesus" as you learn the verses, that's totally awesome! We encourage you as you learn, to simply replace Yeshua with Jesus as you practice, and surely it will get written on your heart the way you practice it.

YES! It is not an official Revere Project app (YET), however, if you download the Kajabi App and login with your TRP login, it will give you direct access to your lessons from your phone. 

It is super easy and has a great user interface!

The best translation is the one translated into ACTION!

We actually don't use a specific translation but use excerpts from a few different translations (listed below). We also modify phrases (author's translation) to fit the songs that don't come from any specific translation, but still relay the same meaning and message.

For example:

"You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might." Deuteronomy 6:5 ESV

vs.

"You will love the LORD your God with all your heart, soul and might." Deuteronomy 6:5 The Revere Project

The process to achieving our vision is multifaceted.  Between building relationships with Christian organizations globally to song translations to recording (no one on the team can sing in Chinese - yet!) to accessibility - there are a lot of steps to take before we reach our destination. 

But we know good things take time and lots of effort! Getting TRP off the ground and building up a strong community will all play a major part in taking God's Word through song worldwide.
